WINTER!!!!

Farewell Old Man Winter, your cold breath abated,
It is the warm breezes of Spring, we have long awaited.
You gave us beautiful scenery of ice and of snow,
Bone chilling temperatures, biting and stinging as the north winds would blow.
Snowballs, snowmen, sleds, toboggans, snowboards and even skiing,
To enjoy the cold winter sports, it takes a real hardy being.
Trees and signs with their icing, icicles and even ice skating too,
It seems you had something for everyone, which is certainly true.
With Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and a Happy New Year,
It made for good times together and memories so dear.
It was time for you to go, you have had your fling,
Now it is with open arms, we welcome Spring.
I know we will miss you, but you can come again,
Let's just leave your schedule, as it has always been.
Welcome our new season with your Spring fashions all new,
Brilliant colors and various fragrances, nothing else will do.
